Thank you, Arlington Catholic Herald & Welcome, ACH readers!

It’s great fun to see the article in this week’s Arlington Catholic Herald about our Jubilee Journey pilgrimage to Mary-named parishes in the Diocese of Arlington. Terry and I had lots of fun speaking with the Catholic Herald Staff Writer, Anna Harvey, who is super nice and a very astute reporter. She asked great questions, put together a wonderful summary, and we’re thrilled to share our celebration with the entire Diocese in this way.

Please do drop a note below or via our contact form and let us know your own pilgrimage experiences, within and without the Diocese of Arlington. And please let us know any good opportunity to visit your own parish — we’d also be thrilled welcome you to our parish, Cathedral of St. Thomas More (prayer and wishing God speed for the construction — perhaps Mass in the cathedral proper by Christmas ? ! ). Terry and I usher the 8am Sunday Mass.

Above all, we wish to thank Bishop Burbidge for calling us to this wonderful experience and Marian celebration that has truly enriched our lives and, most importantly, our faith and joy.

We wrap up the liturgical year in the Appalachians and Piedmont Mary-named churches (see post here: Up next… Nov 24-Dec 2), and can’t wait to see the good people there!
